Hey! It’s me again, going deeper into the principle of TRUST. Bob Marley is certainly topical today. He wrote, “Man to man is so unjust, you don’t know who to trust. “ I have been growing weary of the “Fake News” phenomena. I love fiction but need my news to be true. At the same time I need balance. This contemplation is about a way to find balance and reconnect to who we truly are. In this moment, I invite you to contemplate on another one of my excerpts from The Dolphy Code. Good News or Bad News He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. Psalms 112:7 These days, constantly watching the news makes many people nervous. Two-thirds of the news we hear have unhappy outcomes and we spend a lot of time watching and listening. When I spend a lot of my time listening to this bad news, I begin to expect bad news. I begin to fear life. The fear I experience daily, is a result of me shifting my heart and my attention from you to what is happening in the world around me. Dear God everything requires balance. I choose this moment to shift my expectations of gloom and doom to your wondrous work. When I watch the news, help me to maintain spiritual and emotional balance. I choose to live in faith.
